Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Perform sterilization protocols and maintain clinical equipment per OSHA standards
- Take digital dental impressions and develop X-rays using advanced imaging technology
- Manage patient records and implement HIPAA-compliant documentation systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory management of dental supplies
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Coordinate with insurance providers and handle billing procedures efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain sterility protocols
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for clinical shifts
- Willingness to complete 12-week paid training program (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm)
- CPR certification required (will be provided during training)
- Basic computer proficiency for dental software systems
