Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications for patients under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription orders for accuracy.
- Manage inventory, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and managing expiration dates.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions regarding their medications and store policies.
- Assist in the processing of insurance claims and refill requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform precise mathematical calculations.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- A valid driver's license is a plus, though not mandatory for the training role.
