Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications to patients accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and package prescription orders for delivery or patient pickup.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking pharmaceutical supplies.
- Interact with patients to answer questions regarding medications and provide health advice.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information against prescriptions.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and compliant with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy and data entry proficiency.
