Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary draws on patients of all ages with precision and care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and strictly adhere to infection control protocols.
- Verify patient information and accurately label specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate anxiety and explain procedures.
- Manage inventory of supplies and ensure equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Document all procedures accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
