Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments via phone and secure messaging platforms to evaluate symptoms and determine urgency.
- Provide expert medical advice and triage protocols based on established clinical guidelines.
- Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately and promptly within the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a high level of patient satisfaction by demonstrating empathy, active listening, and clear communication.
- Stay current with medical advancements and participate in required continuing education and training modules.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan (or eligibility for multi-state licensure).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications are required.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate EMR systems efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with high call volume.
- Previous triage experience is a plus, but not required if you are willing to complete our paid training program.
