In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, ensuring they maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging in conversation and shared activities.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as requested.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes in condition or medication side effects to the care team immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing, or home health is preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- CPR and First Aid Certification is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patience, empathy, and integrity.
