Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation
- Administer medications under RN supervision
- Collaborate with healthcare team for care plan adjustments
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Support emotional well-being through companionship
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year geriatric care experience
- CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends, evenings)
- Clean TB test and background check
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
