Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to residents
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health status accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and safe movement within the facility
- Administer medications under RN supervision per protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to create individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
- Maintain clean, organized resident rooms and common areas
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in long-term care
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (weekends/holidays)
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Knowledge of HIPAA and resident care protocols
