Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Assist with mobility transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises
- Support residents with daily activities like meal preparation and feeding
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Report changes in resident condition promptly to clinical team
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
