Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document resident observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer medications under proper supervision as per state regulations
- Support residents with daily activities while promoting independence and dignity
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent long-term care or senior care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Excellent communication skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (weekends/evenings required)
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation systems
