Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document residents' vital signs and physical conditions
- Assist with meal service and ensure proper nutrition/hydration
- Transport residents safely to medical appointments and social activities
- Administer medications under RN supervision per state regulations
- Maintain clean resident rooms and common areas
- Report changes in resident status to nursing staff promptly
Qualifications
- Current Colorado CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months prior long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends/holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
