Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers
- Administer medications under supervision and document patient responses
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain patient hygiene standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Background check and health clearance required
