Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Prepare and serve meals while monitoring dietary needs
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Perform light housekeeping duties as assigned
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare team
Qualifications
- Active DC Certified Nursing Assistant license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of professional CNA experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Basic computer skills for documentation
