Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care across diverse patient populations during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation using EHR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapid response activations
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Mentor junior staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinate patient discharges and transitions of care with day shift teams
Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license (compact license accepted for relocation candidates)
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in night shift environments
- ACLS/BLS certifications with current renewal dates
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and electronic documentation
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts with 12-hour overnight options
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated team collaboration experience
