Responsibilities
- Delight residents with exceptional personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document observations with precision
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises
- Administer medications under RN supervision per facility protocols
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments following infection control standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate resident needs
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care or assisted living
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
