Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status changes
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning using proper techniques
- Support meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed
- Collaborate with RNs and care team to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Emotional support and companionship for residents during daily activities
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care or assisted living
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Clear TB test and comprehensive background check
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate approach
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
