Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Transport patients to and from medical examinations and procedures safely.
- Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and changing bed linens.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient condition accurately.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in California.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
