Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises
- Support nutritional needs by serving meals and assisting with feeding when required
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate effectively with RNs and interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests with empathy
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Background check and TB test clearance required
