Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and using mobility aids safely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding care plans.
- Document daily progress notes and incident reports in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license current and in good standing with the State of Arizona.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift and assist patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation.
