Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to residents and patients.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions and hydration needs are met.
- Document patient care plans and promptly report any changes in condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment to prevent infection and ensure patient comfort.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in the State of New York.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification is required.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
