Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting) to residents
- Monitor and document vital signs and health observations
- Assist with medication administration per protocol
- Facilitate social and recreational activities
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active NM CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months long-term care experience
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate demeanor with seniors
- Pass background/drug screening
