Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document resident observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Support nutritional needs during meal times and ensure hydration
- Facilitate engaging social activities and companionship
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans
Qualifications
- Active Maryland CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent long-term care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Proficient in electronic documentation systems
