Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercises as prescribed.
- Prepare meals and ensure patients are eating properly.
- Administer medication as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA Certification (CNA 1) required.
- Previous experience in home health or hospital setting is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
