Responsibilities
- Delight residents with personalized assistance in daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, health status changes, and patient preferences with precision
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life
- Assist with mobility transfers and ensure safe movement throughout the facility
- Collaborate seamlessly with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
Qualifications
- Current North CNA certification with active license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in long-term care or geriatric settings
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect meaningfully with seniors
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and care delivery
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical care tasks
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- CPR/BLS certification preferred (training available for qualified candidates)
