Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition
- Administer medications as per care plan protocols
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to update care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and homelike environment
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of hands-on elder care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
