Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and document resident observations accurately
- Support meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Assist with medication administration under supervision
- Engage residents in therapeutic activities and social interactions
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop care plans
Qualifications
- Active NC CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of hands-on elderly care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Proficiency in electronic documentation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
