Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Vitals: Regularly check and record blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming with dignity and respect.
- Medication Support: Assist patients with medication reminders and document administration accurately.
- Communication: Serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and the nursing staff to report changes in condition.
- Mobility Assistance: Help patients move safely, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or walking assistance.
- Hygiene Maintenance: Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Certification: Active and current CNA License in the state of Georgia required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
- Training: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification is mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
