As a Part-Time CNA, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing direct care that promotes dignity and improves the quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Support residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
- Medication Assistance: Prepare and distribute medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Meal Service: Assist with feeding residents and ensuring dietary requirements are met during meal times.
- Emotional Support: Build rapport with residents, offering companionship and engaging in meaningful conversation.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care records in accordance with facility protocols.
- Environment Maintenance: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and welcoming.
Qualifications
- Certification: Active, unencumbered CNA license issued by the State of Georgia.
- Experience: Previous experience in long-term care, home health, or assisted living is preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care techniques.
- CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Interpersonal: A genuine, caring demeanor and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
