Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with daily living activities and maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Support nurses in implementing care plans and communicating patient needs
- Administer medications under proper supervision with precise documentation
- Transport patients safely within facility for appointments or activities
- Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in acute care or senior living
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
