Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with special dietary needs.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas or medical equipment as required.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the State of California.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
