Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility transfers and ensure patient safety protocols
- Support meal services and monitor nutritional intake
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare teams to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in long-term care or assisted living
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate demeanor with commitment to patient dignity
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Clear criminal background check and negative TB test results
