Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Administer medication as directed by licensed nurses and document all care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff in accordance with facility protocols.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required by the State of Colorado.
  • Current, unencumbered CNA license in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
