Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper body mechanics to ensure safety for both patient and staff.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe patient environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team, physicians, and families regarding patient status and care plans.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Florida (FL).
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for work-related travel.
