Job Summary
As a Part-Time CNA, you will be the heart of our patient care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and provide emotional support to ensure a high quality of life for those in our care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals while ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Change linens and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary living environment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and charge nurse immediately.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Missouri.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity and respect.
