Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic patient care, such as feeding, positioning, and transferring patients.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and family members regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and standing for long periods.
