Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient status accurately and timely.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms, linens, and medical equipment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license in the State of Nevada.
- CPR/BLS certification from a recognized provider (e.g., American Red Cross or AHA).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
