Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using walkers, wheelchairs, or transfer aids.
- Administer prescribed medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Minnesota.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
