Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to elderly clients
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain safe living environments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in geriatric care
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Fluency in English (Spanish/Bilingual a plus)
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
