Your Role:
As a CNA, you will be the eyes and ears of our nursing team, ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
- Assist with meal planning and feeding as needed.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the charge nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license in the State of New Mexico.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Previous experience in long-term care or home health is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to care.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Completion of high school diploma or GED.
