Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining their dignity.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse accurately.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by the RN or LPN.
- Document patient care information promptly in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
- Communicate any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the state of Ohio.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Previous experience in long-term care or home health is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented work ethic.
