Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration per care plan guidelines
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Collaborate with RNs to implement individualized care strategies
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- Current Washington State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year CNA experience in home care or senior living
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach with geriatric populations
- Availability to work weekends and evenings
