Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient responses, and health status changes
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and rehabilitation exercises
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities and observations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Missouri CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent acute care or hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
