Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfer activities using proper techniques
- Document patient observations and care accurately in electronic records
- Support patient hygiene and comfort measures
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
Qualifications
- Current Ohio CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
