Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient condition, and intake/output
- Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and medical equipment operation
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate medical records
- Respond promptly to patient call bells and emergency situations
- Support patient education and family communication
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months acute care hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Electronic medical record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
