Responsibilities
- Delight patients with personalized care assistance including bathing, feeding, and mobility support
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs and patient observations
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and equipment preparation
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments following infection control protocols
- Facilitate warm communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Support patient comfort through position changes and emotional reassurance
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification with current license
- Minimum 6 months acute care or hospital experience
- Valid CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with empathy-driven approach
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
