Responsibilities
- Delight patients with exceptional bedside care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs and patient observations
- Collaborate seamlessly with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and assist with medical procedures
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging times
- Transport patients safely between departments using specialized equipment
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year hospital or acute care experience preferred
- BLS certification from AHA required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs
- Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Compassionate approach with patient-centered focus
