Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient intake/output, and other health metrics
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and equipment preparation
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using electronic health records
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, safe, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Colorado CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of acute care hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
