Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition promptly
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and patient positioning
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately
- Collaborate with nurses and medical staff to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Support emotional well-being through active listening and empathy
Qualifications
- Current New Mexico CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
