Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient condition, and care progress
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls
- Support nutritional needs by serving meals and assisting with feeding as needed
- Administer medications under proper supervision and documentation protocols
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and family stakeholders
Qualifications
- Current Kansas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in a long-term care setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Empathetic approach to patient care with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
