Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals as per dietary plans
- Administer medications under supervision and document accurately
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain clean patient environments
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of professional CNA experience
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Compassionate nature with patience for elderly care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
